About Me

"Merely being immersed in a second-language environment is no guarantee of receiving comprehensible input."

"General intelligence is actually quite a poor indicator of language-learning ability. Motivation, tolerance for ambiguity, and self-esteem are all better indicators of language-learning success."

Thank you for visiting Japanese and Korean language tutoring HanaSky.

I'm a Japanese and Korean language tutor based in Sydney, Australia. I am a Japanese native, lived and studied in South Korea for a long time (more than 10 years), have a Master's degree and studied PhD course work in International Relations.

My students are leaning general conversation(all levels, Japanese and Korean), business conversation and JLPT with me. I have over 20 years of teaching experience across adults and university students, I also have classroom teaching experience in corporate sites.

I aim to help learners achieve and exceed their goals through my lessons.

Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your future lessons.
I am looking forward to talking to you soon.

Best Regards,

What is the tutor's phone number? Can I have it?

If you become face to face lesson student, you will have my phone number, otherwise please contact me by contact form or Email. You will have my Email address, once the booking has been confirmed.

Is your business registered? Will you give me legitimate receipts?

Yes. My business is registered in Australia. I have my Australian Business Number (ABN) and Working With Children Check (WWCC). You will receive receipts when you paid lesson fees. HanaSky website does not show my business details as I am trying to protect myself from scam emails and cold calls. You will have my business details and contact, once you start having lessons with me. Or you can request me to provide them via contact form.

You can find more in FAQ section.

My video Tips:
I can speak English but I spoke all in Japanese. Please turn on subtitle, if you need.
